Plot of Episode 1

Cheryl Becker died suddenly — and woke up reincarnated as the eponymous female side character in the novel she was reading. By sheer accident, she crosses paths with the story’s villain, Oliver Dawson. To his astonishment, her presence alleviates the agonizing pain of his chronic illness. Intrigued, he takes her back to his estate. When Cheryl awakens and attempts to flee, she finds herself hunted by the novel’s hero— the very protagonist who, in the original story, kills her by Chapter 50. Desperate to survive, she clings to Oliver, the only one who can protect her. Determined to rewrite her fate, Cheryl uses her knowledge of the plot to sabotage the hero’s path, unraveling the story’s original trajectory. In the end, she escapes the death that once awaited her — and forges a new future alongside Oliver, beyond the pages of the book.
