Hailey Adams' first day on the job is marred by a late arrival and a failure to prepare breakfast for her new boss, President Mason Anderson, notorious as "The Devil." Mason coldly demands she leave his office and report to HR. However, he quickly changes his mind, not out of mercy, but to protect his reputation from appearing too harsh for firing six secretaries in a month. Hailey is forced to endure a series of absurd office rules and verbal abuse from Mason, who calls her appearance an "eyesore." The segment ends with Hailey receiving a shocking and terrifying phone call.
