Lilwyn bursts into Colin Hart’s antique shop, disheveled and drenched by a torrential downpour, only to discover that the mysterious noise that has tormented her for a decade vanishes whenever she is near him. Though skeptical, Colin kindly takes her in. When Lilwyn attempts to leave, the harrowing auditory hallucinations of war and disaster return, pushing her to the brink of a breakdown. Colin ultimately decides to take her home. Meanwhile, the villainous Victor Randall cold-bloodedly plots a real estate scheme to demolish the old district, demonstrating chilling control and malice toward his greedy subordinates.
