This episode tells the story of how the female lead, Shen Ning, injures the male lead, Lu Yunshen, by accident. The two are in a mediation room to negotiate compensation. Shen Ning tries to resolve the issue with money, but Lu Yunshen feels insulted, believing his "handsome face" is undervalued. At this point, Lu Yunshen's twins, Lu Jingchen and Lu Qianqian, step in and vigorously "promote" their father to Shen Ning, detailing his wealth, status, and appearance, and trying to persuade Shen Ning to become their mother. After being mocked by Shen Ning, Lu Yunshen becomes enraged and states his sole condition for reconciliation is for Shen Ning to marry him and become the children's stepmother.
