This episode follows Gu Ye, who, while out on a delivery, accidentally stumbles upon his girlfriend Chen Yao, who had been pretending to be paralyzed, energetically attending a party in a luxurious mansion. It turns out Chen Yao is actually the daughter of the Chen family and had been faking her injuries all along to trick Gu Ye into selling his father's priceless jade pendant. Gu Ye storms into the party to confront Chen Yao and expose her deception. To his shock, Chen Yao shows no remorse and casually gifts the jade pendant to her new lover, Xiao Yizhe.
