Episode 1 - Forbidden Curriculum

Episode 2 - Forbidden Curriculum

Shen Shi, who transmigrated into the body of a villainous master, faces his second disciple, Xuan Yu, for the first time in his new identity. Xuan Yu fabricates a story about receiving an invitation from Xingzheng Hall to see his master. Shen Shi sees through the lie but, instead of punishing him, abolishes the bowing ritual, surprising both Xuan Yu and the third disciple, Cang Yuling. Later, Shen Shi discovers that the "cheat" he prepared for the protagonist, a mutated Edelweiss, has been eaten by a crane. Enraged, he summons all his disciples. In the medicinal garden, he meets his diligent fourth disciple, Han Xian'er, and begins to re-examine his relationships with his disciples and his responsibilities as a master.

Episode 3 - Forbidden Curriculum

Transmigrator Shen Shi decides to show concern for his eldest disciple, Dong Yue Li, who was punished by the original host. He accidentally walks in on her bathing and sees her covered in scars, feeling pity and giving her a precious medicinal pill to aid her recovery. Subsequently, Shen Shi discovers that as the novel's author, he has the "Heavenly Dao" blessing, an in-game cheat that allows his cultivation to improve rapidly. The next day, he summons all his disciples for cultivation. Despite the hardships of their cultivation, they are grateful that their master took them in when they were ostracized by the sect and believe him to be a kind and gentle person. At this moment, Zhao Huangming, a disciple from Hebai Peak, arrives with his men, ostensibly to search for a lost valuable medicinal crane, intending to force his way into Erbai Peak. The disciples are inwardly panicked because they had just eaten one not long ago. To protect their sect, Han Xian'er bravely steps forward to block them, leading to a conflict with Zhao Huangming. Just as Han Xian'er is about to be defeated, their master Shen Shi makes a dramatic entrance, repelling all intruders with a single move and declaring that no one can touch his disciples.

The episode opens with the protagonist Shen Shi easily repelling disciples from He Baifeng who came to provoke him, and then showing concern for his disciple Dong Yue Li. Afterward, Shen Shi is troubled by the fact that his pet immortal cranes are not breeding. He hands an ice-elemental spellbook to his senior disciple Dong Yue Li, who has already solidified her foundation-building realm. However, Dong Yue Li inwardly feels disappointed about not having been "punished" by her master for a long time. The story then shifts to the Immortal Seed Assembly at Shangding Immortal Sect, where various sects come to observe. Dong Yue Li begins by publicly and actively requesting "punishment," and Shen Shi, shocked, realizes this is part of his own plot logic and reluctantly complies. Disciple Xiao Qier deliberately falls, hoping to get closer to her master Shen Shi, who sees through her intentions but deals with it helplessly. Afterwards, he releases his eldest disciple Dong Yue Li, who was locked in the closet, only to be further flustered by her bold words and actions. To escape his two "dangerous" disciples and find the protagonist's cheat, Shen Shi decides to descend the mountain. Along the way, while grilling lamb skewers, he encounters Luo Shanshan and her mother from the Wood Spirit Castle. He introduces himself to them under the alias "Jing Ze," and Luo Shanshan becomes interested in him.

Luo Shanshan explains her intention to win over the mysterious Daoist priest Shen Shi to her daughter Yu Ting, believing him to be unfathomable. Shen Shi learns of Mu Ling Fort's predicament from the guard commander Gao Sheng: the fort master died early, and Luo Shanshan, as the widow, is supporting the family business with her adopted daughter Yu Ting. This trip is to send Yu Ting to Yuhua Sect for protection. During their conversation, Shen Shi senses an enemy attack and warns everyone. Lei Cai, who covets Mu Ling Fort's property and Luo Shanshan, arrives with his men, claiming to have invited an immortal to assist, plunging the Mu Ling Fort party into crisis.

After witnessing Luo Shanshan and her daughter being cornered by villains Lei Cai and Fang Daikuan, the male protagonist Shen Shi (alias Jing Ze) decides to intervene. Shedding his former image of a weak "little Taoist priest," he reveals overwhelming power, instantly intimidating all enemies. To seize the treasure "Gathering Spirit Green Lotus Seed," Shen Shi sets a trap, forcing Lei Cai and Fang Daikuan to fight each other. In the end, Fang Daikuan emerges victorious and offers the treasure. Shen Shi keeps his promise not to kill him, but Luo Shanshan immediately retaliates. With the crisis resolved, Luo Shanshan and her daughter Yu Ting warmly invite Shen Shi to accompany them, to which he gladly agrees.
