Episode 1 - Not Your Villainess

Adele Cross has spent lifetime after lifetime fixing other people’s stories. She and her system were supposed to finally retire in a peaceful world. Episode 2 - Not Your Villainess

The episode opens with the male lead, Lu Jingxing, aggressively demanding a divorce from the female lead, Xiang Wan, on the rooftop and warning her not to cause trouble at the banquet. Xiang Wan, a task-taker with a system, outwardly agrees to Lu Jingxing's demands under the system's advisement, prioritizing her survival and mission completion. Afterward, Xiang Wan inwardly vows to give Lu Jingxing a "surprise." She meticulously dresses up in the bathroom, changing into a stunning black evening gown, preparing for a grand entrance at the banquet to shatter everyone's perception of her and impress Lu Jingxing.

At a glamorous charity gala, Mrs. Lu, Xiang Wan, was expected to perform a cello piece. Instead, she surprisingly pulled out a suona and played a "funeral dirge" for her husband, Lu Jingxing, publicly humiliating him. Faced with Lu Jingxing's fury and threats of divorce, Xiang Wan not only readily accepted but also declared him "inadequate" and revealed she had lived as a widow for years. At a banquet, the female lead, Xiang Wan, deliberately teases Lu Chi, who is in a wheelchair and possesses a powerful aura. Lu Chi happens to be the uncle of her ex-husband, Lu Jingxing. Onlookers are shocked by Xiang Wan's seemingly suicidal actions. Witnessing this, Lu Jingxing angrily tries to stop Xiang Wan and abjectly apologizes to his uncle, Lu Chi. However, Xiang Wan turns the tables, publicly declaring she will become Lu Jingxing's "aunt," thoroughly humiliating him. Just as Lu Jingxing can no longer stand it and is about to lay hands on Xiang Wan, Lu Chi, who has been watching coldly, intervenes, showing a protective stance towards Xiang Wan.
