Episode 2 - Plot Armor Not Included

The episode opens with a man disguised as the hero "Bai Qingfeng" in a duel with the Demon King. To protect himself, he abandons his admirer, Tiantian, ultimately revealing his selfish nature and being easily slain by the Demon King. The Demon King, keeping his promise, lets the heartbroken Tiantian go. Meanwhile, the elders of the Human Awakener Association, worried about the Demon King's power, decide to send Lin Feng, possessed by a transmigrated soul, to find the item that seals the demon tower. They mistakenly believe the Demon King would not dare leave the tower. However, the real Demon King has already taken the name "Bai Qingfeng," successfully infiltrated the Human Awakener Association, and at the end, directly exposes the great prophet's ignorance, creating immense suspense.

A modern office drone accidentally transmigrates into a novel he once read, becoming Lin Feng, the trashy younger brother of the heroic protagonist. Armed with his "omniscient" knowledge of the plot, he intends to usurp the original protagonist and become the story's core. However, he soon discovers the plot has deviated from its course: the hero Bai Qingfeng, who was supposed to be dead, is not only alive but an S-class awakened being; and Li Tiantian, the "sweet and innocent" girl he saved, also seems to have hidden secrets. Worse still, the great prophet he relied on for crucial information is murdered, and the real culprit – the Demon King disguised as Bai Qingfeng – skillfully diverts suspicion onto Lin Feng. In a panic, Lin Feng accuses the Demon King of the murder, igniting their conflict.

The demon king easily defeats Lin Feng but is stopped by the timely arrival of the Hunter Association President. The President assigns both of them a mission to find a divine artifact. Later, the demon king learns from his teammate Tiantian that Lin Feng is a "穿越者" (time traveler) and his personality has drastically changed, leading him to deduce that Lin Feng's body has been possessed. At this point, an A-class monster invades. Lin Feng rashly engages it to show off. Although he appears victorious, he is unaware that this monster has the characteristic of faking death to evolve. Amidst everyone's cheers, the monster evolves into an S-class and defeats Lin Feng with a single blow, leaving a great cliffhanger.
