Upon waking up in the hospital, the female protagonist Jiang Xun unexpectedly gains the superpower to see others' "favorability scores" towards her. To her shock, she discovers that her boyfriend Gu Yun, who claims to love her, only has a favorability score of 9, while Shen Yi'an, whom she considers her arch-nemesis, has a score as high as 90. Shen Yi'an visits her in the hospital and speaks rudely, deepening Jiang Xun's confusion. Through her interactions with the doctor, Jiang Xun verifies the rule that a higher favorability score indicates greater affection, which leads her to suspect that her boyfriend Gu Yun has been deceiving her all along. At the same time, she begins to harbor significant doubts about Shen Yi'an's true intentions.

Later, Shen Yi'an apprehends the driver responsible for the accident and interrogates him rigorously, seeking to uncover the mastermind behind the incident, revealing a hidden protectiveness towards Jiang Xun. Meanwhile, the true orchestrator, Gu Yun, and his accomplice, Feng Jiajia, plot in a car. Their argument escalates over the failed plan, and Gu Yun ultimately suggests exploiting Shen Yi'an's animosity towards Jiang Xun to join forces with Shen's Group and eliminate Jiang Xun.
