Episode 2 - The Baby Clause

Shen Yanchen, CEO of Shen Group, is constantly pressured by his parents, Chairman Shen and Mrs. Shen, to marry and have children, as he has remained unmarried and childless for years. To prevent his parents from adopting a child from the orphanage, Shen Yanchen instructs his subordinate to make prior arrangements. However, upon their arrival, his parents still get into a fierce argument with Shen Yanchen, desperate for a grandchild, and bring up the hereditary issue of Shen family men having difficulty conceiving after thirty, which greatly increases Shen Yanchen's pressure. After his father angrily wishes for "a grandson to fall from the sky," a boy named Little Sponge truly does appear from above, landing directly into Chairman Shen's arms, bringing the plot to a climax.

At a crucial moment, Shen Yanchen appeared, fiercely defended An Muqing, and forcefully took her away, leaving Lin Yihan seething with resentment. By the car, Shen Yanchen playfully teased An Muqing, but his words were overheard by the two children hiding inside the car, who then decided to "get even" for their mother.
