The episode opens with a flashback revealing Qin Feng's tragic childhood experience: his biological father, Boss Qin, was framed and killed by Chen Youqi in a gambling match. Eighteen years later, Qin Feng is adopted by Chen Youqi and trained into a gambling expert, but he still cannot fully recall the truth of his childhood. Qin Feng is severely whipped by Chen Youqi for endangering Ah Xiang, Chen Youqi's daughter, by crashing a rival's establishment. Ah Xiang vehemently defends Qin Feng, while Chen Youqi uses his adoptive father status for emotional blackmail and intimidation. Qin Feng outwardly complies. At this moment, his sworn enemy, Third Master Huang, arrives to provoke them, specifically requesting a gamble. Chen Youqi sends Qin Feng to represent him.

Back then, to shield his son from the "wrong path," Boss Qin refused Lu Zailin's proposal to hand over his son, thus offending the ruthless Chen Youqi. Lu Zailin's words, "It's because of you that you brought a fatal disaster to your father," directly attribute the tragedy of that year to Qin Feng's talent, sparking intense conflict and emotional impact.
