Assassins hidden among the interviewees launch a sudden attack. To fend off the covetous Zhou family and preserve the family's foundation, Ye's mother implores Xiao Tian to marry Lin Qingyue as Ye Feng and continue the family line. Though hesitant, Xiao Tian decides to first join the Ye family as a bodyguard. At the end, Xiao Tian accompanies Ye's mother to the Ye family villa, where he unexpectedly reunites with Chu Yiyi, who is discussing "dating strategies" with Ye Sisi. Their past encounter on a plane instantly plunges the scene into shock.
