In this episode, Lin Que, the female lead seeking revenge for her father, deliberately bumps into Mu Jiuzhou, known as "Master Nine," the male lead, on the neon-lit streets. Under the guise of her superb card-handling skills, she successfully steals his important invitation. Master Nine immediately sees through Lin Que's "borrowing beams to replace pillars" trick, trapping her in front of his car for a tense confrontation. He tests her abilities by having her identify cards blindfolded. Lin Que not only accurately identifies the "Royal Flush in Hearts" but also cleverly defines the last card as her own "good fortune," gaining the upper hand in this initial clash of wit and charm, showcasing her extraordinary courage and skill.

The episode opens with Lin Que showcasing her extraordinary memory at a card game, catching the attention of influential figures from both the underworld and legitimate society, including Ninth Master (Mu Jiuzhou). Seeking revenge for her father, Lin Que infiltrates the tiger's den, arriving at the casino of "盅王" Long Wu, a subordinate of her enemy, Ghost Master. Without chips, she gambles away a month of her "use rights" for sponsorship. Ninth Master unexpectedly appears and "buys" her with a single chip, a move that, while seemingly humiliating, grants her entry into the game. Seizing this opportunity, Lin Que challenges Long Wu, vowing to win the entire table with one chip, shatter his undefeated legend, and take the first step in her revenge.

In a high-end casino, the protagonist Lin Que, under the alias "Jiang Xia," challenges Long Wu, the Dice King under Boss Gui, to a game of "higher or lower." She initially feigns weakness, leading Long Wu and the onlookers to underestimate her. However, at the critical moment, she defeats Long Wu with a massive bet and her inherited skill, "Clearing Clouds and Playing the Moon," stunning the entire venue. Observing from upstairs, Jiu Ye Mu Jiuzhou recognizes the move and becomes intensely interested in Lin Que's mysterious identity. After the game, Lin Que is summoned by Boss Gui. Mu Jiuzhou outwardly claims not to interfere but secretly orders his subordinates to investigate her background.

During their confrontation, Lin Que reveals that the "Ghost Master" before her is merely a double and demands the whereabouts of the real one. Lin Que then makes her escape, triggering a full pursuit by the Ghost Master's subordinates. While fleeing down a corridor, Lin Que is pulled into a room by the male lead, Mu Jiuzhou, resulting in a wall-slamming embrace, setting the stage for their relationship and future plot developments.

Under Mu Jiuzhou's extreme duress, Lin Que was finally forced to admit that she had a vendetta against Master Gui.

To get closer to her father's killer, Ghost Master, Jiang Xia pretends to cooperate with Mu Jiuzhou. Amidst testing and maneuvering, they embark on a revenge journey filled with coercion and misunderstandings.
