Episode 2 - The Tycoon’s Secret Canary

This episode uses flashbacks to reveal the childhood bond between the male and female leads. Twenty years ago, in the Lin family mansion, a young Lin Weiwei was bullied and driven away by her cousin Lin Xi at a birthday party. A young Yan Jia stepped in, not only comforting Weiwei by calling her a "beautiful little princess" but also giving her a gift, lighting fireworks to accompany her, and teaching her not to bow down to those who bully her. The scene then shifts back to the present, where Yan Jia, now a CEO, is searching for Lin Weiwei's whereabouts and learns that Lin Weiwei (his wife) is in trouble. At the end, Yan Jia receives a distress message from Lin Weiwei, and their destinies intertwine once again.

Lin Weiwei faces a career crisis as her endorsement is taken by her cousin Lin Xi, who also maliciously exposes a "sugar daddy" scandal. Lin Weiwei calmly contacts her contractual husband Yan Jia (her benefactor) for help. Yan Jia acts swiftly, immediately blocking Lin Xi's account and clearing the defamatory content. Afterward, Yan Jia's assistant, Assistant Xu, calls Lin Weiwei to inquire about the resolution and jokingly teases her about missing the CEO.
