Episode 1 - The Will to Kill

Episode 2 - The Will to Kill

The episode opens with a passionate encounter between Ma Xiaotong and her lover Zhang Hu in a car, revealing through their conversation that Zhang Hu's wife, Yang Xue, is Ma Xiaotong's husband Ling Fei's doctor, indicating a complex relationship between the four. Subsequently, the betrayed Ling Fei finds Yang Xue, who is also betrayed. Yang Xue mistakenly believes Ling Fei wants to engage in a revenge affair. Ling Fei calmly rejects her and reveals his findings from investigating their respective spouses, pointing out that both are in difficult situations due to their partners' infidelity. Finally, Ling Fei formally proposes an alliance with Yang Xue to seek revenge against those who betrayed them.

Episode 3 - The Will to Kill

This episode tells of Ling Fei, the boss of a tech company suffering from lung cancer, who reveals a shocking conspiracy to Yang Xue, the wife of his wife Ma Xiaotong's lover, Zhang Hu. Ling Fei informs Yang Xue that her husband Zhang Hu is an abusive gambler and reveals the truth of his cancer: a year ago, Ma Xiaotong and Zhang Hu conspired to slowly poison him to death using a necklace containing radioactive material. To thoroughly convince Yang Xue to cooperate, Ling Fei plays a secret video recording. In the video, Ma Xiaotong and Zhang Hu not only admit to the murder plot but also maliciously discuss how to seize all of Ling Fei's assets after his death and sell their daughter to a remote mountainous region.

Ling Fei proposes a revenge collaboration to Yang Xue, a doctor whose husband is having an affair. Ling Fei believes that merely imprisoning the offenders is insufficient to eliminate the threat to her daughter and advocates for more drastic measures. Yang Xue hesitates, fearing her daughter might have a mother who is a criminal. Ling Fei persuades her by arguing that her husband, Zhang Hu's gambling nature, poses a threat to her daughter, and assures her the plan is legal. To demonstrate the plan's feasibility, Ling Fei shows her a "show" she orchestrated: a creditor, Brother Liu, arrives with men to collect Zhang Hu's substantial gambling debts, and a conflict is imminent.
