This episode tells the story of Wu Zhe, CEO of the Wu Group, who, on the eve of his wedding to Li Wei, accidentally stumbles upon his fiancée Li Wei and her childhood sweetheart Zhang Ning having an affair in their marital home. Flashbacks show Li Wei and her parents, Li Shan, greedily demanding the betrothal gift increase from 500,000 to 500 million during the engagement, while the deeply loving Wu Zhe agreed to it all. Back in the present, Li Wei shows no remorse, mocks Wu Zhe for thinking he could marry into the now publicly listed Li family, and openly admits to her affair with Zhang Ning. Wu Zhe coldly reveals that the Li family's rise was entirely due to his support and vows to make the betrayers pay. Zhang Ning, enraged, attacks but is instantly subdued by Wu Zhe.

This episode features an intense confrontation between Wu Zhe and Li Wei in an underground parking lot. Shamelessly, Li Wei presents Wu Zhe with three humiliating conditions for the sake of her "buddy" Zhang Ning: a kneeling apology, a transfer of shares, and complete non-interference in their marriage. Despite Wu Zhe's years of heartfelt devotion and immense sacrifices, Li Wei shows no gratitude and instead conspires with Zhang Ning to accuse Wu Zhe of "playing the victim." Through flashbacks revealing how Zhang Ning emotionally blackmailed Li Wei using "illness" and "first times," the episode exposes the twisted dynamics of their relationship. In the end, Wu Zhe, deeply disappointed, awakens and vows to no longer tolerate the situation, promising a "big gift" at tomorrow's wedding, signaling the beginning of his revenge. Episode 10 - Trading a Traitor for a Queen

This episode revolves around extreme emotional blackmail and betrayal. Wu Zhe is hospitalized with severe injuries, but his fiancée, Li Wei, brings the assailant, Zhang Ning, to his room. Disregarding Wu Zhe's pain from his broken arm, she forcibly removes his medical splint and gives it to the unharmed Zhang Ning, then insults the injured Wu Zhe as "petty." Zhang Ning's manipulative "green tea" tactics, using a retreat-to-advance strategy, cause Li Wei to completely defect. She even abandons Wu Zhe on the eve of their wedding to be with Zhang Ning. This humiliation becomes a turning point, and in despair, Wu Zhe awakens. He coldly orders the Li family's bankruptcy and the retraction of all stock transfers, officially launching a revenge plot disguised as a wedding.
