Episode 1 - Wake Up, Darling

A runaway plan falls apart. A wedding she never wanted begins. Her fiancé disappears—and shows up where he shouldn’t be. Left with nothing, she walks into a marriage with a man who can’t wake up. Or so she thinks.

Episode 2 - Wake Up, Darling

This episode tells the story of Qin An'an marrying Fu Shiting, once a powerful figure in Jiangcheng, who has now fallen into a vegetative state. On their wedding night, Fu Yechen, Fu Shiting's nephew and Qin An'an's ex-boyfriend, breaks into the marital home. Fu Yechen shamelessly claims that he didn't elope with Qin An'an to allow her to inherit the family fortune after Fu Shiting's death, and attempts to assault her. At the critical moment, Fu Shiting, who had been in a coma, suddenly opens his eyes, scaring the wicked Fu Yechen into fleeing in disarray.

Qin An'an marries Fu Shiting, who is in a vegetative state. On their wedding night, Qin An'an mistakenly believes Fu Shiting has awakened, only to be told by Aunt Zhang that it was just a physiological response. Qin An'an laments that she doesn't want the Fu family's fortune to fall into the hands of the prodigal Fu Yechen, and vaguely senses that Fu Shiting might be able to hear her. The next morning, Qin An'an serves tea to the old madam. Not only does the old madam gift her a valuable bracelet, but she also makes the bizarre request that Qin An'an bear an heir for the Fu family, leaving Qin An'an utterly shocked.

To save her comatose son Fu Shiting's family business, the Fu family matriarch demands Qin An'an undergo IVF to bear him an heir, offering to treat Qin An'an's father and invest in Qin's Group as an exchange. Fu Yechen, who has long coveted the family fortune, and his accomplice Wang Wanzhi, obstruct this plan fiercely. To protect Fu Shiting's assets from falling into Fu Yechen's hands and to save her critically ill father, Qin An'an resolutely agrees. Late at night, Qin An'an confesses her guilt to the unconscious Fu Shiting by his bedside, unaware that his finger trembles slightly.

In this episode, Qin An'an, after marrying the comatose Fu Shiting, confronts her ex-boyfriend and Fu Shiting's nephew, Fu Yechen, with humiliation. She forcefully retaliates using her status as "Auntie." After two months of caring for Fu Shiting, Qin An'an gradually adapts to this life, even trying to find emotions in his unconscious eyes. However, as Qin An'an is getting ready, Fu Shiting miraculously awakens and coldly questions the stranger by his bedside, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.

Fu Shiting, the head of the Fu family, miraculously awakens after a long coma, while the elder Mrs. Fu faints from excessive excitement and is rushed to the hospital. The awakened Fu Shiting is cold and ruthless, completely rejecting his wife, Qin An'an, whom his mother arranged for him to marry during his coma. He believes she married a "vegetative state" patient for money and publicly orders her to leave. Qin An'an feels her diligent care over the past two months has been in vain and, disheartened, prepares to depart. However, Fu Shiting suddenly brings up the possibility of Qin An'an being pregnant at breakfast and cruelly forces her to choose between an abortion and a medical abortion, further escalating their conflict.

This episode details Qin An'an and Fu Shiting's cold dinner at the Fu family home. Fu Shiting's attitude towards Qin An'an is extremely hostile; he is displeased that she calls him by his name and explicitly states his intention to divorce her in two days, to which Qin An'an calmly agrees. Qin An'an initially believed she was not pregnant (mistaking her period for a normal cycle). However, during a hospital examination, she unexpectedly discovers she is two months pregnant and that her supposed "period" was actually dangerous uterine bleeding. Faced with Fu Shiting's cruel threat of forced abortion, Qin An'an faces a difficult decision in front of the doctor: to try and save the pregnancy or to give it up.

Episode 8 - Wake Up, Darling

This episode tells the story of Qin An'an accidentally discovering a photo of a cute girl that Fu Shiting cherished while trying to care for the sleeping Fu Shiting, which triggers Fu Shiting's furious rage. Fu Shiting cruelly punishes Qin An'an for touching his private belongings by confining her and going on a hunger strike for three days. Three days later, the Fu family matriarch arrives in time and reprimands Fu Shiting for his coldness, revealing that Qin An'an is the daughter-in-law she chose and strictly forbidding their divorce, showcasing the intense conflicts within the Fu family stemming from this contractual marriage.

Episode 9 - Wake Up, Darling

Qin An'an is disillusioned with Fu Shiting, angrily demands a divorce, and denounces him as a demon. Fu Shiting, however, takes pleasure in tormenting her and declares that only he can decide the end of their marriage. Qin An'an is plunged into despair, concealing her pregnancy with twins. While seeking an abortion at the hospital, she learns that she might be infertile for life after the procedure, leaving her in a dilemma. At this moment, her stepmother Wang Wanzhi calls to inform her that her father is critically ill, exacerbating Qin An'an's already dire situation.

Episode 10 - Wake Up, Darling

Qin An'an rushes back to the Qin family only to find her gravely ill father, Old Qin, on his deathbed. Her stepmother, Wang Wanzhi, has not only embezzled the substantial dowry Qin An'an received for marrying into the Fu family but has also neglected Old Qin, even cruelly wishing for his early demise. Facing her dying father, filled with guilt, Qin An'an tearfully lies, claiming to be pregnant, in a desperate attempt to offer him some final comfort. Old Qin passes away with regret but a sliver of peace, leaving behind a debt of eight hundred million. Alone in the hospital, Qin An'an grapples with the potential cruelty of Fu Shiting (the child's biological father) and falls into extreme despair and struggle over the fate of the unborn child.
