This episode focuses on an antique appraisal test within the Fu family. The female protagonist, Ye Wanxing, is framed by Fu Shengnan, Fu's second uncle, and his niece Fu Yu'an. They challenge her to identify a Northern Dynasties antique from four pottery pieces. Fu Yu'an smugly reveals all the pieces are fakes, intending to humiliate Ye Wanxing. However, Ye Wanxing surprisingly smashes the pottery she chose in front of everyone, declaring, "Now it is." This infuriates Fu Shengnan and his stepmother, Lin Man, who threaten to expel her from the Fu family and implicate the Ye family.
