Inside the Qingyi Xuan Chess Hall, young chess player Ling Yi, unable to stand the arrogance of his senior sister Wen Shujiao's opponent, Xu Tang, defies his master's prohibition and insists on a match. Xu Tang dismisses Ling Yi, mocking his youth and ignorance, and provokes him. With Wen Shujiao's persuasion, Ling Yi temporarily holds back. However, when Xu Tang uses a taunt to invite him to play, Ling Yi turns the tables. Citing his master's orders as a reason to refuse, he then has a sudden idea: he proposes to guide Wen Shujiao from the sidelines, allowing her to make the moves, thereby engaging in a match with Xu Tang while cleverly circumventing the prohibition.
