Rong Yan goes to the hospital for a prenatal check-up and coincidentally runs into Huang Jianren, the head of the advertising department, and his wife. Huang Jianren recognizes Rong Yan and notices she is pregnant. When confronted by his wife, he lies, claiming Rong Yan is just a regular intern at the company to conceal their relationship (or his harassment). Back home, while Huang Jianren is asleep, his wife checks his phone and discovers explicit, suggestive text messages, including a demand for her to wear a short skirt and stockings to work. Enraged, the wife believes it's that "intern" seducing her husband. When confronted, Huang Jianren shirks responsibility, blaming Rong Yan and claiming she made the first move. The furious wife mistakenly identifies Rong Yan as a home-wrecker, threatening to scratch her face. A major misunderstanding and crisis are about to erupt.
