Lu Qingzhi and Su Wanwan's "Princess's Choice" shop is thriving, which incurs the jealousy of Murong Jin, a spy from Xiqi. Murong Jin sets fire to the shop's backyard, intending to frame the two princesses, who are from an "enemy country," and incite unrest. The fire spreads rapidly. In the critical moment, although Lu Qingzhi and Su Wanwan are distressed about their precious raw materials and ingredient logs, they ultimately decide to abandon their possessions to save lives. Meanwhile, Xiao Jingyuan and Xiao Beichen arrive with their troops. Xiao Jingyuan pretends to help fight the fire, but secretly orders the capture of the two princesses, fearing they will destroy evidence of "collusion with the enemy," further escalating the trust crisis between the couples.
