To awaken his critically ill grandmother, CEO Jin Chenzhou, in a moment of desperation, strikes a deal with the pregnant cleaner Xia Chu, asking her to pretend to be his granddaughter-in-law. This arrangement faces fierce opposition from Jin Chenzhou's aunt, who, due to her class prejudice, humiliates Xia Chu relentlessly. However, Xia Chu's inner monologue reveals a shocking secret: Jin Chenzhou is the biological father of the child she carries, a fact he is completely unaware of. After Jin Chenzhou's attempts fail, Xia Chu kneels by the bedside, pouring out her heart and tearfully confessing the truth to the old lady, pleading with her to uphold justice for her and her child.
