Plot of Episode 2

The episode opens with Xiaoman's classmate, Zhu Wei, publicly humiliating Xiaoman's boyfriend, Xuanyu, calling him a pervert and a poor loser, and slandering their relationship. Xiaoman firmly defends Xuanyu, and the two leave without engaging Zhu Wei further. Afterward, Zhu Wei reports the situation to her behind-the-scenes boss, the rich young man Liu Qiang, informing him that Xiaoman, whom Liu Qiang fancies, already has a boyfriend. Instead of backing down, Liu Qiang finds it more thrilling and dispatches his subordinates to provoke Xuanyu, who had just been affectionate with Xiaoman, creating new conflict and suspense.
