As the male protagonist, Yun Ze, creates his game character, he unexpectedly obtains the "God-tier" talent "Demon Transfer," a skill that allows him to shift the costs he endures onto others. This perfectly complements his chosen high-risk profession, the "Shadow Priest." Excited, he names his character "Demon" and is then forcibly teleported to a dilapidated city called "Lost Ruins." Just as all players fall into panic and chaos, an angel descends, proclaiming that the gods of this world are about to fall, and whoever clears this "online game" will become the new god. This reveals the grand backdrop of the game merging with reality.
