A young woman named Ning Xi, from a mountain village and skilled in metaphysics, makes a deal with the wealthy CEO Ji Xiuqi, who possesses a pure yang body, to avert a "heavenly tribulation." After successfully "inspecting the goods," Ning Xi, citing him as a "scumbag," semi-coercively demands that Ji Xiuqi immediately get married to her. Both harbor secrets: Ning Xi aims to inherit her grandmother's legacy, while Ji Xiuqi wants to fulfill his grandfather's last wish. After marriage, their differing views on life lead to conflicts, particularly over "whether they should live together," where Ning Xi's naive logic leaves Ji Xiuqi speechless. When Ji Xiuqi cancels an important blind date for her and announces their marriage to his assistant, he begins to take this mysterious girl seriously and questions her true identity.
