Plot of Episode 3

The protagonist, Hao Meigui, returns home and is questioned by her idle son, Li Wan Quan, about her late return and asked to hand over the 100,000 yuan betrothal gift she received from marrying Wang Da Gen. When Hao Meigui confesses that she didn't marry Wang Da Gen but instead married a penniless delivery driver with no betrothal gift, Li Wan Quan flies into a rage, insults and assaults his mother, and snatches the little money she has. He attempts to forcibly drag Hao Meigui to get a divorce. As they argue fiercely, his ex-mother-in-law, Zhang Xiu Rong, appears, and Li Wan Quan immediately complains to his grandmother.
