The episode opens with Su Morán being mistaken for a "thief" who kidnapped An'an by Fu Yebai's assistant. An'an steps forward and clarifies that Su Morán saved her life, calling her "Mommy" innocently and demanding that "Daddy" Fu Yebai marry her as a reward. The narcissistic Fu Yebai mistakenly believes Su Morán is a gold-digger trying to marry into his wealthy family, but Su Morán shatters his illusion by demanding the ten billion bounty. While paying the bounty, Fu Yebai is filled with contempt for Su Morán, as An'an's mother is supposedly "deceased." However, An'an insists Su Morán is the mother from her dreams, and Fu Yebai's memories of being told his child's mother had died starkly contrast with Su Morán's vibrant presence.
