Psychologist Leah arrives at the Kingsley estate, where Leo and Lyla, twins who haven't spoken for years, suddenly call her Mommy and show her dream portraits of a woman who looks just like her, stirring up Leah's grief over her own deceased child. Silas, the master of the estate, suspects Leah has ulterior motives, insulting her and warning her to stay in line. Though repulsed by Silas's narcissism, Leah decides to stay for the children. On her way upstairs, Leah is tripped by Vera in a sabotage attempt, accidentally kissing Silas and shocking everyone present.
