In the dark forest, the powerful vampire Howard rescues the frightened Aurora from a group of thugs working for "the Duke." Howard swiftly dispatches the attackers with his extraordinary abilities, all while skillfully shielding Aurora's eyes to protect her from the gruesome scene. After the battle, this harrowing experience seems to have awakened Aurora's precognitive abilities. She experiences a vision of her wedding to Howard and then, to his astonishment, declares, "I am your future wife," marking the mysterious beginning of their fated relationship.
