Five years after being humiliatingly driven away, he is now determined to seek revenge. Meanwhile, while Jiang Feng is paying respects to his deceased father, his aunt feigns comfort and serves him a bowl of porridge, claiming it will help him inherit the family headship. After drinking it, Jiang Feng is shocked to realize the porridge is poisoned by his aunt's sinister smile and his own discomfort. The plot ends abruptly with Jiang Feng in a life-threatening state from poisoning.
