Plot of Episode 3

In this episode, male protagonist Lin Zhou hires a fake girlfriend to deal with his mother's pressure to get married. However, he mistakenly contacts female protagonist Liu Ruyan. Lin Zhou, terrified, believes Liu Ruyan is a scammer trying to "kidney-harvest" him. Liu Ruyan plays along, video calls Lin Zhou's mother, and impresses her with her acting skills. She then orchestrates Lin Zhou's removal from the family chat group. Under his mother's pressure and Liu Ruyan's relentless pursuit, Lin Zhou is forced to accept Liu Ruyan as his fake girlfriend. Finally, Liu Ruyan reveals to Lin Zhou that her target is not his kidney, but him.
