Lin Xi, holding her sick son Lele, forces her way into a high-level meeting hosted by Xue Qingfang, despite Secretary Gu's obstruction. Lin Xi publicly accuses Lu Yunting of dereliction of duty and being unreachable, and scolds Secretary Gu for being arrogant and overbearing. Secretary Gu attempts to have security remove Lin Xi, but is instead publicly slapped and taught a lesson by Lin Xi. Xue Qingfang, shocked, dismisses everyone and keeps Lin Xi and her son alone. Just then, the sleeping Lele wakes up and calls out "Grandma," leaving Xue Qingfang, who has never met her grandson, in profound shock.
