This episode takes place in a mansion. The maid Eliza (actually Jonas's biological daughter) tries to get the sick master Jonas to join breakfast but is met with sarcastic remarks from Jonas's wife Louise and adopted daughter Lana. Louise acts extremely cold-blooded and gives Eliza a specially made "herbal tea," explicitly instructing her to make sure Jonas drinks it. Eliza brings the tea into Jonas's bedroom. Just as Jonas is about to drink it, Eliza notices something strange about the tea (suspected poison) and, in a panic, knocks over the cup. Louise and Lana rush into the room upon hearing the noise. Louise is distressed about the expensive broken cup/wasted medicine, while Lana verbally abuses Eliza and slaps her hard.
