This episode follows protagonist Qin Ran's decision to divorce her husband Bai Jingzhou. However, Bai Jingzhou suddenly "loses his memory" and uses this as an excuse to relentlessly pursue Qin Ran, trying to win her back. When Qin Ran accuses him of forcing her to divorce him for the "other woman," Bo Xiaoya, the amnesiac Bai Jingzhou denies everything and instead blames Qin Ran. He uses his supposed amnesia, claiming he only trusts Qin Ran, as a pretext to stay with her, proposing an exchange: "Take care of me until I recover my memory, and then we'll divorce." Finally, he tracks Qin Ran to the villa she received as part of their divorce settlement and, in a lavish display of wealth, reveals a completely different "doting wife" side than his past self, leaving Qin Ran feeling both ironic and bewildered.
