Plot of Episode 4

This episode opens with the male lead, Lucian Hastings, ruthlessly dealing with Mr. Green, the adoptive father who attempted to traffic Emma's organs, thereby saving Emma. Upon waking, Emma was grateful for Lucian's life-saving act but fled in terror after witnessing his brutal methods. Homeless Emma, with the help of her friend Kelly, gets a job as a waitress at a restaurant, determined to start a new life. Meanwhile, Emma's biological grandfather, the powerful Earl of Devon, is using all his resources to search for her throughout the city. Just as Emma believes she can finally breathe easy, her adoptive sister Victoria and adoptive parents suddenly appear. The episode ends with the cliffhanger of Emma being caught on the spot.
