Plot of Episode 4

This episode narrates the drastic personality change of the male protagonist, Lu Ming, who transforms from a pushover into a responsible and powerful man. He first violently drives away thugs bullying his wife, Lin Qingxue, demonstrating an unprecedented protective instinct. Later, in private with his wife, he uncharacteristically praises her paintings and refuses to take their savings, vowing to earn money to support their family on his own. Lu Ming's significant transformation leaves Lin Qingxue bewildered and astonished, also laying the groundwork for his mysterious identity.
