Plot of Episode 4

The daughter of the Underworld King, Youyou, is brought home to the Gu family by her father, Gu Zhixing. Her first encounter with her pregnant stepmother, Bai Yaxian, immediately sparks animosity. Bai Yaxian attempts to persuade Gu Zhixing to send Youyou away, but her plea is firmly rejected. Possessing special abilities, Youyou sees through Bai Yaxian's facade, realizing she is "destined to be childless" and that the fetus in her womb is actually an evil entity plotting to harm her father. As Bai Yaxian tries to lure Gu Zhixing to touch her belly, Youyou urgently intervenes, but Gu Zhixing mistakes her actions for jealousy. A potential crisis is silently looming.
