Gu Sichen, the head of the Gu family, rescues Shen Zhouyuan from being assaulted by Boss Wang at a nightclub. During the rescue, Gu Sichen is surprised to find that he is not allergic to Shen Zhouyuan, a rare occurrence as he is usually allergic to women. Driven by a "heat" within him, Gu Sichen takes Shen Zhouyuan to a hotel and they have intercourse. Afterwards, he promises to take responsibility. Shortly after, Shen Zhouyuan discovers she is pregnant with Gu Sichen's child, leaving her conflicted about whether to seek him out.
