Plot of Episode 4

The episode opens with Isabella, Edward's rival, seeing physical contact between Edward and Emily and questioning why Edward broke his rule of disliking touch. When Emily kindly approaches to show concern, Isabella rudely dismisses her as the "new cleaner" and tells her to leave. Just as Emily turns to go, Edward suddenly grabs her wrist, raising Isabella's suspicion.
