In the company hallway, Adrian bumps into Elena, a female employee carrying a stack of documents, and strikes up a friendly conversation. Just as the atmosphere between them becomes slightly ambiguous, Adrian's ex-fiancée, Isabella, appears. She not only interrupts their talk but also condescendingly humiliates and dismisses Elena. Adrian argues with Isabella over this, accusing her of lacking empathy, while Isabella warns Adrian not to flirt with lower-level employees, citing the important "merger deal." Their conflict becomes apparent.
