The episode opens with CEO Li Xingzhou's special assistant Cheng Zirong reporting that Su Yan's attempt to use an aphrodisiac to target Li Xingzhou failed because he was not present, but instead, another mysterious woman succeeded. Upon hearing this, Li Xingzhou orders Cheng Zirong to review surveillance footage with intern Yue Linglong, who saw the woman, to identify her. Later, when Yue Linglong unintentionally compliments the handsome owner of a goose shop downstairs, Li Xingzhou becomes intensely jealous and orders the stall owner to be forcibly removed. Yue Linglong witnesses this and, as she is confused, receives a call from Cheng Zirong, who shockingly reveals he has copied the hotel surveillance footage from that night, putting her secret at risk of exposure.
