Plot of Episode 5

Top assassin Lu Anning (Shuang You) finds her memories of her ex-husband Gu Lin intertwined as she prepares for a mission. Returning home, she is met with the hypocritical pleas of her stepmother Zhang Qing and stepsister Lu Qingqing. Zhang Qing attempts to frame Lu Anning by having her deliver a bottle of wine laced with a potent aphrodisiac to Mr. Li of Hongxing Real Estate, in exchange for ten million yuan. Lu Anning sees through their scheme, discards the gift, and resolves to wait for the opportune moment to reclaim the Lu family and make them pay for their wicked deeds.
