However, Qin Shuai recognizes Shangguan Baiyu as his fiancée, whom he came down the mountain to find, through the jade. Shangguan Baiyu leaves with her sister Wan'er. As Qin Shuai attempts to pursue them, he is blocked by a group of bodyguards in black. Qin Shuai displays astonishing combat prowess, quickly defeating them all. Finally, the leader of the bodyguards draws a pistol and points it at Qin Shuai, escalating the crisis.
