Anna prepares Lucas's morning coffee in the office, their interaction natural and harmonious. Suddenly, Daphne bursts in, attempting a "surprise" approach to Lucas, but is met with a cold response. Daphne immediately displays intense hostility and disdain towards the newly present Anna, not only belittling Anna's status as a "helper" but also mocking Lucas's lowered hiring standards. Lucas maintains a professional demeanor throughout, clearly introducing Anna as his assistant and rejecting Daphne's lunch invitation, insisting she schedule an appointment through Anna. Before leaving, Daphne sarcastically insinuates Anna is a "gold digger." After Daphne leaves, Lucas comforts and persuades the disheartened Anna to continue working.
