Plot of Episode 5

To finalize an acquisition, Leo Carter and his contract wife, Evelyn Taylor, pretended to be boss and assistant, handcuffed together, and met with restaurant owner Caleb under the guise of "company team building." Caleb attempted to inflate the acquisition price by offering an exclusive recipe, which he claimed belonged to the legendary "Chef E." However, Evelyn (who is actually Chef E herself) immediately exposed the deception, pointing out that truffle oil, which ruins the flavor, had been used in the dish, and revealing that Chef E never records recipes. The plot climaxes as Leo questions Evelyn about how she knew this secret, foreshadowing her true identity.
