Plot of Episode 5

The episode opens with protagonist Allison Jensen seductively luring male lead Eric Wayne in a car, creating an atmosphere of ambiguous tension. However, this intimate moment is interrupted by a graphic flashback: the villain Victor Nichols, armed and threatening Allison and her mother in search of Allison's brother Colin, ultimately shoots and kills Colin. Back in the present, a distraught Allison receives a controlling phone call from her nominal fiancé, Alec Wayne. Witnessing her series of unusual behaviors, Eric begins to doubt her true identity and confronts her directly at the end, setting up suspense for the following episodes.
