Plot of Episode 6

This episode follows Lin Xiaoxiao, the protagonist Jiang Sheng's "best friend," who, under the guise of concern, probes Jiang Sheng's opinions about President Li Tingyan. Lin Xiaoxiao deliberately spreads negative rumors about Li Tingyan's chaotic private life. Jiang Sheng outwardly dismisses Li Tingyan, claiming she only "desires his body" and that they are from different worlds, reassuring Lin Xiaoxiao. However, when the scene shifts, Lin Xiaoxiao, after Jiang Sheng falls asleep, secretly calls Li Tingyan. She declares she has made her decision and is willing to go to "Lan Garden," revealing her true intention of getting close to Li Tingyan behind her facade of fake concern.
