Plot of Episode 6

The episode opens with Jennifer Jones, greeted by her boyfriend's assistant, Matthew, and preparing to leave in a luxury car. Her inner monologue hints that she has stolen an opportunity that rightfully belonged to her childhood friend, Audrey Smith. The landlady, Mrs. Joseph, witnesses this scene and mistakenly believes Jennifer is involved with a wealthy benefactor, becoming displeased after Jennifer rudely slams the car door. Later, Audrey returns to an empty apartment to find Jennifer has left without a word. She anxiously inquires with Mrs. Joseph, only to be told that Jennifer has left with a supposed "rich boyfriend" and will not be returning, leaving Audrey devastated.
