The episode opens with a boy named Ye Zifu, who possesses mysterious powers, punishing the wicked Ye family (father Ye Jianguo, stepmother Lin Xue, and stepsister Ye Xiaofei) with a "lightning strike." Instead of repenting, the Ye family covets the precious jade ruyi on Ye Zifu and attempts to snatch it. Under the intervention of Ye Zifu's bodyguard, the Ye family, enraged, resorts to threatening him by invoking their daughter's status as "Madam President of Xiao Group." Ye Zifu immediately demands they repay his mother, Ye Chuchu, for years of suffering and issues an ultimatum. The Ye family scoffs at this, prompting Ye Zifu to call his sister Ye Zilu and order her to reclaim all of the Ye family's wealth. In the end, the Ye family's assistant rushes in in a panic to report that their bank accounts are cleared, leaving the Ye family in shock and despair.
