This episode features two parallel storylines. On one side, the female antagonist Su Xiaoxue uses both gentle persuasion and stern tactics on the male protagonist Mo Hanzhou, complaining about his coldness towards her. She successfully softens his heart, and he promises to register their marriage in three days. Meanwhile, the wrongly imprisoned female protagonist Su Xiaohuan is suddenly informed of her acquittal because the plaintiff has dropped the charges. At the prison gates, she encounters Zhou Haotian, who previously assaulted her sister and led to her imprisonment. He cruelly reveals the truth: this was all orchestrated by Su Xiaohuan's sister, Su Xiaoxue, who plotted her imprisonment so that no one would be able to control her.
